Permission for Procession.
Permission for Procession/Meeting/Protest Meetings & to obtain licence for use of Loudspeaker & Fireworks.
(I) All Districts except Commissionerate, Bhubaneswar-Cuttack, Bhubaneswar.
- For taking permission for procession, the applicant must submit a written request indicating number of participants with horses, carriages, elephants, motor vehicle, musician swords, lathi and other weapons etc if any. After receiving the application, necessary enquiry/conditions are verified and after being satisfied on the conditions, permission is issued.
- For holding meeting/protest meeting, the place selected by the Organizer for the purpose must obtain ”NOC”/permission from the competent Revenue Authority /Private Land Owner if any and then from the line departments if any and permission from the side of Police is given after assessing on safety /security and law & order point of view.
- To obtain licence for use of loudspeaker and fireworks, the applicant must apply permission addressing the Sub-Collector, concerned in Form-A affixing court fee stamp of ₹1. That application is then sent to concerned Police Station for necessary verification and after getting the views from local IsIC/OsIC and SDPO concerned, Licence is issued by the Sub-Collector, concerned in Form-B.
