Odisha Police Pipe Band Team Won the 3rd Prize in the All India Police Band Competition.

• The State Police Band unit plays a pivotal role in the State level functions, Ceremonial Parade, District level functions and other Police as well as Govt. functions.

• Besides that, it is used to give Rastriya Salute welcoming in the arrival of the dignitaries such as President of India, Vice-President and Governor and foreign dignitaries.

• The Band plays it's tune at the Republic day parade, Independence day parade, Odisha Police Formation day Parade and on the beating the retreat parade.

• The Band also plays it’s tunes while giving Salute to the Martyrs.
