State Crime Records Bureau (SCRB) was Created on 23.07.1988 Vide Home Dept. Resolution No.40464 consisting of Odisha Police Computer Bureau and State Finger Print Bureau.

Now efforts on to execute CCTNS in the entire country including Odisha.

Crime and Criminal Tracking Network & Systems (CCTNS) Project is centrally sponsored Mission Mode Project under the National e-Governance Plan which aims to fully modernize the Police organizations in the country.

CCTNS is intended to ensure that Police maintains all its Crime and Criminals data through online system and to provide Citizen access to Police services online and in a hassle free manner.

SCRB :-

Statistical Cell plays a vital role of State Crime Records Bureau. All the statistical reports have been prepared correctly by this cell.

Besides these, Statistical Cell, State Crime Records Bureau, Odisha have successfully submitted different data to different Govt. Establishments of Central & State Government.

This Office also have provided required data to the Police Offices/ Organisations/ Establishments of Odisha & outside Odisha and to other Govt. Organisations in time as when required.
