The Statue of ‘Police Uncle’ is an innovative way to encourage Child-friendly Policing.

- It is a bronze sculpture, which depicts a policeman assisting two Kids, Symbolizes the bonding between Children and Police.
- It has been placed on the premises of the District Police Office Jagatsinghpur.
- The Statue was inaugurated by Dr R.P. Sharma, IPS , Director General of Police.

- The aim of the statue ‘Police Uncle’ is to remove fear from the mind of Children towards Police and to create a Child-friendly atmosphere.
- The concept was to bridge the gap between the Police and Public.
- It will inspire Police Personnel to develop a friendly relationship with the Public.
